On July 1, 2005 I began my pastorate here at St. Luke’s. It is hard to believe that I am embarking on a second six-year term. Over the past few weeks I have receive many supportive notes, calls, and comments from many of you. As Christians we enter into a relationship with one another. We both receive and give, listen and speak. In all of it we try to build up the Body of Christ, the Church. Thank you for making this parish such a special place. May we grow in the ways of the Lord.

St. Luke's Parish is an active Roman Catholic community located in Barrington, RI. Originally established as a Mission Parish in 1936, St. Luke’s has grown to include over 1,700 registered families. St. Luke’s School offers K-8 Christian education, teaching a way of life where faith permeates every discipline in the curriculum. St. Luke’s also operates a pre-school. Good Day Father Bob,
I happened to find your site while doing a search for mine. www.theeco-senior.blogspot.com , my name is Bob Hawkins as well and many years ago the Priest at St. Mary's in Greenfield Park Quebec, Father Marc started to call me Father Bob. Part of a long standing joke.
Some day if you are interested I will tell you the story.
I thought it rather ironic to find a real Father Bob especially one who is Catholic since I am not. That only adds to the story.
